Ethical Culture | ||
The Ethical Culture Fellowship of Austin (ECFA) is a humanistic religion dedicated to personal ethics and reason, with faith in humanity's ability to create a better world, committed to the worth and dignity of the individual. In 1876 Felix Adler founded the Ethical Culture Movement which proclaimed a vision of humanity united in common concern for ethical values. Our Ethical Societies are fellowships of people who seek a clarification of the values of life and a faith to live by. We cherish freedom of conscience. We assert the autonomy of ethics while we tolerate a plurality of philosophies. We affirm and promote the following principles which are integral to our Ethical Movement: For more information, visit the official Ethical Culture Fellowship of Austin Home Page. |
