University Baptist Church is an autonomous Baptist church worshipping God and ministering together as disciples of Jesus Christ. We profess faith in God through Christ and seek to live out the Divine self-disclosure in scripture. Our mission efforts extend around the world through our affiliation and cooperation with the Alliance of Baptists, the American Baptist Church of the USA, and the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship. We are involved with ecumenical and interfaith ministries through participation in Austin Metropolitan Ministries, the Foundation for the Homeless, the Interfaith Hospitality Network, Austin Habitat for Humanity, the International Friendship Ministry, and others.
